Carlos R. Rojas Rodríguez
Business administrator with extensive experience in international trade and economics.
Graduated from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University of Bogotá, with in-depth studies in strategic management, business evaluation, financial accounting, trade remedies, FTAs and the multilateral trade system. He has been a national and international speaker on these topics.
With more than 40 years of professional experience in the private and public sectors, Mr. Rojas has held various positions in the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, in its Subdirectorate of Design and Operations Administration, Foreign Trade Operations Design Group , Safeguards, Tariffs and Foreign Trade Group and in the Colombian Free Trade Agreement negotiating team on dumping measures, safeguards and subsidies with more than 15 countries.
His experience includes organizations such as the Colombian Institute of Foreign Trade “Incomex”, Industrial Development Institute – IFI / Holguín y Cía, Banco Uconal, Development Financial Corporation and Banco AV Villas.
