With over two decades of experience in the legal and administrative aspects of intellectual property, he specializes in the protection and strategic monitoring of distinctive signs—such as trademarks, slogans, and trade names—as well as in copyright and related rights. His training is complemented by advanced studies in the protection of personal data on digital platforms, free competition, and the use of information and communication technologies in the practice of law.
Since 2019, he has been contributing his analytical insights as a columnist on trademark issues for the newspaper La República, where he examines the main trends and disputes in industrial property in the country. He has extensive experience in managing proceedings before the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (SIC), INVIMA, and the National Copyright Directorate (DNDA), assisting entrepreneurs with their registration and internationalization processes to ensure a secure and distinctive corporate identity in global markets.
